To clarify, you don't Have to buy the expansions in order for yous to log in with your character on pc, BUT you lot'll accept restricted admission to the expansion content, yous also won't be able to log in if you logged out in an expansion-simply area.
It wouldn't transfer your business relationship actually, it will merely give a separate license that you tin employ on PC.
I take the same thing now really with PS4 and PC

Uh, you seem to have missed my bespeak a little.
If yous have Heavensward on PS4 and you make up one's mind to buy the base game without the expansion on PC, you can nonetheless log in with your characters on PC as long as they logged out in a non-HW surface area.
You can still use classes that're above lvl 51 on the pc without owning HW, simply you can't proceeds exp above 50 (i.e. if you switch to a lvl 55 class it'll be treated as the lvl cap and you'll gain 0 exp, preventing you reaching lvl 56).
You can switch to the 3 HW Jobs if you've already unlocked them on the ps4.
You can't access any HW area or duty.
To put it only, you have express access to a small-scale handful of HW'due south features. Roughly the aforementioned restrictions will be in place for Stormblood once it launches.

ok let me exist more than clar i accept strorm claret and Hw on ps4 i wwant to buy the pc version of FF14 i know my chars volition transfer over but then i have to purchase Storm claret n Hw for pc too?

Yous have to buy Stormblood, Heavensward is not necessary if you will wait until launch of SB because SB comes with HW automatically.

If you don't purchase Stormblood you won't have access to stormblood areas while you're logged in on the pc, you lot can still play other content though. The same applies to Heavensward.
